I don't believed that I wrote "Ubuntu!!Rock!" Back in the day when I used slackware and kde most current desktop was 3.4. Ubuntu was unheard of and gnome was most boring thing in computing for me. Maybe I am just writing this because I haven't try proper KDE 4 desktop yet but so far with KDE 4 , it was really a disappointment for me. Maybe because I just install it on the top of Ubuntu and I haven't install all the core component. Maybe I just just need to try Kubuntu or I should just drive into Slackware again and try to install everything by compiling from scratch like before but I am too tried to investigate all these dependecy detail. And I had never used Linux this easy before. Wow!
Within minutes of installing, I could used the compiz cube feature and rotate my desktop and change the theme with a click of the button. It would have taken me days to do that in Slackware KDE.
